睡梦中的杀手 睡眠呼吸中止症

睡眠呼吸中止症是常见的睡眠呼吸障碍,可分为三种,其中最普遍的是阻塞型睡眠呼吸中止症(Obstructive Sleep Apnea)。阻塞型是在睡眠时上呼吸道发生塌陷,气流阻滞而造成呼吸中止和过浅的现象,明显的打鼾声更是常见。有的患者甚至会在睡梦中因缺氧而惊醒。据统计,大约47%的马来西亚人会遇上睡眠失调的问题,患上阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停的更有大约7%。
