“Caring Membership Service” (hereafter called the Service) refers to the member-exclusive service provided by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management Sdn Bhd and its affiliated companies (hereafter called the CARiNG Pharmacy) for Caring Members. This Agreement is made and agreed to between You and the CARiNG Pharmacy.

  1. “Member” or “Members” means individual(s) who has been accepted by CARiNG Pharmacy as participating member(s) of the Programme in accordance to the Terms and Conditions set forth herein; “Membership” means membership to the Programme in accordance to the Terms and Conditions herein; “Points” means the points awarded to Members for purchases and redemption of Rewards at participating CARiNG Pharmacy or Merchants’ stores; “Programme” means the Caring Loyalty Programme operated by CARiNG Pharmacy; “Rewards” means the vouchers, coupons, products, services, rewards, gifts or other benefits made available by CARiNG Pharmacy under a rewards programme established by CARiNG Pharmacy which may be redeemed by Members.


  2. These Terms and Conditions (including the Policy on Privacy and Data Protection) govern the award and use of Points by Members, and set out the terms of the Agreement between CARiNG Pharmacy and each Member with regards to the Programme. A person intending to participate in the Programme can register for the Programme with CARiNG Pharmacy by applying for a Caring Membership and can then earn Points on various purchases at participating CARiNG Pharmacy stores and on CARiNG eStore. By applying to register for a Caring Membership, a Member is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. CARiNG Pharmacy may, in its sole discretion decide and without the need to assign any reason, refuse an application made by any person to be a Member.


  3. CARiNG Pharmacy reserves the right to, at any time, vary or terminate the Membership Programme or any privileges under the Programme or withdraw the Caring Membership from use without prior notification to the Member and without being liable in any way to Members. CARiNG Pharmacy may, at its sole discretion, remove any or all Members from the Caring Membership at any time.

  5. The Caring Membership is open to individuals who are 18 years of age and above. Residents and non-residents of Malaysia (who must carry a mobile telephone number from Malaysia +60, Singapore +65, Indonesia +62 and Brunei +673 without fail to receive and access eligible rewards and communications) may apply for membership.


  6. Caring Membership is a privilege account and is non-transferable.


  7. Caring Membership can be registered without charge by downloading the Caring mobile application, in-person at any CARiNG Pharmacy store or on CARiNG eStore without any purchase.


  8. No annual fee will be charged for the Caring Membership.


  9. A Member may use the Caring Membership only in participating Merchants’ stores or at such places or on such items as CARiNG Pharmacy may specify from time to time.


  10. Caring Membership 3-tier programme commences from 1st October 2022 with all existing members beginning with a Silver tier membership.


  11. All new Members will begin with a Silver tier membership and it is to the discretion of the Member to maintain or tier-up their membership level as they desire.


  12. Members must shop the following amounts within their membership year to maintain or tier up their membership level. Membership year is 12 months from the tier level up date or membership registration date.
    1. Silver Tier: No minimum purchase required to qualify for this tier.
    2. Gold Tier: Purchase a minimum of RM8,000 within membership year to qualify for this tier.
    3. Platinum Tier: Purchase a minimum of RM20,000 within membership year to qualify for this tier.


  13. Tier level up begins the following day once the tier qualifier is achieved. Tier level down begins after 1 membership year if tier qualifier is not met.


  14. Caring Membership must be presented to the cashier of the CARiNG Pharmacy store or participating Merchant’s store BEFORE each purchase to record the amount spent and awarding of any eligible rewards. Caring Membership PRESENTED AFTER THE TRANSACTION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED FOR POINTS AWARD OR ACCUMULATION.


  15. There shall be no award or accumulation of Points for backdated receipts, special savings, offers, bulk purchases and sales, unless otherwise stated.


  16. POINT ACCUMULATION WILL BEGIN FROM NIL. Members are advised to keep all receipts for at least 6 months of each qualifying period in the event of discrepancies in the accumulated Points.


  17. Points will expire 12 months after issuance on a first-in-first-out basis. Points are not transferable.


  18. Points will be awarded at the rate agreed by CARiNG Pharmacy when a Member purchases goods at CARiNG Pharmacy store. CARiNG Pharmacy may alter the method and rate at which Points are awarded at its discretion from time to time and CARiNG Pharmacy may revise from time to time.


  19. Points will not be awarded for discount coupons, prepaid or mobile reloads and bill payment services. Discount coupon refers to any coupon with a minimum spend eligibility requirement.


  20. Points redemption is subject to the Member complying with the procedures for redemption. Redemption of Points will only be processed after membership verification via redemption personal identification number (PIN) or one-time password (OTP) has been received by CARiNG Pharmacy. Once redemption has been accepted by CARiNG Pharmacy, it cannot be cancelled, exchanged, returned or refunded.


  21. Points cannot be exchanged for cash and can be redeemed directly upon payment of goods purchased at CARiNG Pharmacy store. Points can only be redeemed for vouchers during specific points redemption campaigns (if any).


  22. Points cannot be redeemed until they are credited into the Membership account of the Member. Points will be recorded in the Member’s account only after CARiNG Pharmacy has notified the details of the relevant transaction of which Points are issued for.


  23. A Member may redeem some or all of his/her Points, Vouchers, Coupons, e-Stamps subject to the Member complying with the procedures for redemption.


  24. All Rewards are subject to availability and further subject to all applicable legal rules and the terms and conditions (including priority level, selection criteria and limitations of liability) as imposed by CARiNG Pharmacy from time to time.


  25. In the event of a failure or breakdown of any equipment or system used in connection with the Caring Membership, CARiNG Pharmacy may refuse request to award Points or redemption of any eligible reward on any transaction. CARiNG Pharmacy and any participating Merchant(s) shall not be responsible or liable in any manner in the event Points are not awarded or rewards redemption cannot be made or a Member is unable to check his Points, due to any failure in the equipment or system used in connection with the Programme.


  26. The use of the mobile application and website is at the Member’s risk. Member is responsible for the security of his/he user mobile login, login PIN and redemption PIN. CARiNG Pharmacy accepts no liability for the disclosure of any user credentials by the Member to a third party, whether intentionally or not.


  27. CARiNG Pharmacy reserves the right to block a Member from accessing his/her account if CARiNG Pharmacy has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraud or misconduct has been committed by the Member or a third party. While CARiNG Pharmacy uses reasonable efforts to include up-to-date information in the mobile application, website and in all its publications, CARiNG Pharmacy makes no warranties or representations as to their accuracy, reliability, completeness or otherwise.


  28. If a Member loses his/her physical Caring Membership Card, Member may download the Caring Pharmacy mobile application for membership reactivation as the issuance of new physical member cards has been discontinued.


  29. Notification of any matter in relation to the Caring Membership shall be deemed given to Member if it is made via any one of the methods below:
    1. by posting on the mobile application; website; SMS or mobile push notification; or
    2. by sending an email to Member who has provided email address to CARiNG Pharmacy; or
    3. by social media postings; or
    4. by publication in a newspaper; or
    5. sending by ordinary post to the last known address of a Member appearing in CARiNG Pharmacy records.


  30. CARiNG Pharmacy will only be liable to a Member (and not any other third party) who suffers loss in connection with the Membership arising from Points being wrongly deducted or non-credit of Points entitled by a Member and in such a case, CARiNG Pharmacy’s sole liability will be limited to crediting to the relevant Member’s account such Points which have been wrongly deducted or should have been credited but were not. CARiNG Pharmacy shall not be responsible where: (i) there is no breach of a legal duty of care owed to such Member by CARiNG Pharmacy or by any of CARiNG Pharmacy’s employees, staff, authorised personnel or agents; or (ii) such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach at the time CARiNG Pharmacy enters into this Agreement with such Member; or (iii) any increase in loss or damage resulting from breach by such Member of the Programme.


  31. CARiNG Pharmacy, participating Merchants, or other third parties are not responsible or liable to the Member for indirect, consequential or economic losses, loss of profits, loss of opportunity or punitive damages of any kind.


  32. CARiNG Pharmacy may further establish rules, procedures and policies in relation to any matter regarding the Programme, all of which shall form part of the Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions as set out herein shall prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other documents, statements, rules, procedures, policies or communications, issued by CARiNG Pharmacy, including frequently asked question (FAQ), advertisements or promotional materials.

  33. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia and the Member shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

  34. CARiNG Pharmacy’s promotional materials are the intellectual property of CARiNG Pharmacy, participating Merchants, or other third parties. A Member has no right to use such intellectual property. 


MyHealth Record, also known as Patient Medication Record (PMR), is a service provided by CARiNG Pharmacy. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply for the use of MyHealth Record. When you start using MyHealth Record, you (“you” or “user”) agree to these Terms.

  1. Using MyHealth Record

MyHealth Record does not provide any medical advice, therapeutic or diagnostic information or recommendations.

You may only use MyHealth Record to manage and document your health information. However, do not rely solely on MyHealth Record, e.g. for remembering medication. We do not check the correctness or completeness of your settings or entries in MyHealth Record.

Always verify the accuracy of content in MyHealth Record: Read the package insert of your medication and consult with your healthcare provider. Make medical decisions based on your healthcare provider’s advice only. 

  1. Provision of MyTherapy

Some MyHealth Record functionality requires internet connection. As we rely on telecommunication networks beyond our control, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of MyHealth Record. We try to minimise operational interruptions e.g. for maintenance.

We cannot guarantee MyHealth Record working on your smartphone or compatibility with your smartphone’s software or hardware. 

We are not liable for data loss if you delete your data, delete MyHealth Record or the mobile application from your smartphone, delete your account or if you lose access to your account.

  1. Registering an Account

You can use MyHealth Record in any CARiNG Pharmacy store. Please inform us if you suspect misuse of your account.

  1. Duration and termination

This Agreement is concluded for an indefinite period. You may terminate this Agreement anytime.

You can cancel the Agreement by deleting your account. We may terminate this Agreement anytime with two weeks’ notice e.g. by email. The Agreement is automatically terminated if we do not register any activity in your account for a duration of (3) three years. If the Agreement is terminated, we will delete your account and you may no longer use MyHealth Record.

The right of termination for good cause remains unaffected.

  1. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms. By continuing to use MyHealth Record after any such change, you agree to follow and be bound by the updated Terms.
