Terms & Conditions

SERVICE AGREEMENT

“Caring Membership Service” (hereafter called the Service) refers to the member-exclusive service provided by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management Sdn Bhd (hereafter called the CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management) and its affiliated companies, which comprises of CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy, for Caring Members. This Agreement is made and agreed to between You and the CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management.

  1. “Member” or “Members” means individual(s) who has been accepted by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management as participating member(s) of the Programme in accordance to the Terms and Conditions set forth herein; “Membership” means membership to the Programme in accordance to the Terms and Conditions herein; “Points” means the points awarded to Members for purchases and redemption of Rewards at participating CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Wellings Pharmacy or Merchants’ stores; “Programme” means the Caring Membership Programme operated by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management; “Rewards” means the vouchers, products, services, rewards, gifts or other benefits made available by CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy under a rewards programme established by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management which may be redeemed by Members.
  2. These Terms and Conditions (including the Policy on Privacy and Data Protection) govern the award and use of Points by Members, and set out the terms of the Agreement between CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management and each Member with regards to the Programme. A person intending to participate in the Programme can register for the Programme with CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy or Wellings Pharmacy by applying for a Caring Membership and can then earn Points on various purchases at participating CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Wellings Pharmacy stores and on CARiNG Official eStore. By applying to register for a Caring Membership, a Member is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management may, in its sole discretion decide and without the need to assign any reason, refuse an application made by any person to be a Member.
  3. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to, at any time, vary or terminate the Membership Programme or any privileges under the Programme or withdraw the Caring Membership from use without prior notification to the Member and without being liable in any way to Members. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management may, at its sole discretion, remove any or all Members from the Caring Membership at any time.

Membership Account

  1. Registration for Caring Membership is open to individuals aged 18 years old and above with any Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Brunei and China mobile numbers.
  2. Caring Membership is a free lifetime membership.
  3. Caring Membership is a privilege account and is non-transferable.
  4. Caring Membership can be registered without charge by downloading the Caring Membership Mobile App, in-person at any CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Wellings Pharmacy store or on CARiNG Official eStore without any purchase.
  5. No annual fee will be charged for the Caring Membership.
  6. Each member is entitled to ONE membership account. Membership accounts are non-transferable and should not be shared.
  7. All points and rewards collected are strictly not transferable.
  8. All rewards including points, vouchers and e-stamps issued to Caring Members are subject to their respective terms, conditions, availability, and validity periods. The terms and conditions of each reward remain effective until stated otherwise.
  9. Caring Members must present your member barcode on the Caring Membership Mobile App or your registered mobile number before any purchase to collect your eligible points and rewards. Memberships presented after the transaction will not be accepted.
  10. Caring Members may redeem some or all of their points, vouchers, e-stamps, and other rewards, subject to compliance with the applicable redemption requirements and at the discretion of CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management.
  11. If a member loses his/her physical Caring Membership card, members may download the Caring Membership Mobile App for membership reactivation as the issuance of physical member cards has been discontinued.
  12. Members are solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of their Caring Membership Mobile App login details and their redemption PIN. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management shall not be held liable for any unauthorized use or access to the account.
  13. Caring Members may use the Caring Membership only in participating Merchants’ stores or at such places or on such items as CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management may specify from time to time.
  14. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the loyalty program, benefits, or these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Point Rewards

  1. Caring Members will earn 1 point for every RM1 spent at any CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Wellings Pharmacy store and on CARiNG Official eStore, subject to ongoing promotions and exclusions.
  2. Points are awarded based on the net total bill amount i.e the final amount paid after any deductions or shipping charges. Points will not be awarded for any cents or rounding adjustments (if any). For example, if the bill is RM80.99 and the net total after rounding adjustments is RM81, total points awarded will be 80 Caring points. A maximum of 50,000 Caring points can be awarded per receipt.
  3. Eligible points will vary depending on the Caring Member Tier. A maximum of 50,000 Caring points can be awarded per receipt.

    Effective 1st January 2026, members will earn the following points for every RM1 spent:

    1. Silver Tier – 1x point
    2. Gold Tier – 1.5x points
    3. Platinum Tier – 2x points
  4. Caring Membership must be presented to the cashier of the CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Wellings Pharmacy store or logged in on CARiNG Official eStore before each purchase to be eligible for awarding of any points. Caring Membership presented after the transaction will not be accepted for points accumulation.
  5. Points accumulation will begin from nil. Points will not be awarded for backdated receipts. Accumulation of past receipts for points collection is not allowed.
  6. Caring Members are advised to keep all receipts for at least 6 months in the event of discrepancies in the accumulated points.
  7. Points will be awarded at the rate agreed by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management when a member purchases goods at CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store and on CARiNG Official eStore. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management may alter the method and rate at which points are awarded at its discretion from time to time.
  8. Points earned are valid for 12 months from the date of point credit. Points will expire at the end of the calendar month. Any expired points will be automatically forfeited and will not be reinstated.
  9. No points will be awarded and/or redeemed for bulk purchases, as determined at the sole discretion of CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management.
  10. No points will be awarded for purchase of selected items including but not limited to selected medications, prepaid reloads, mobile reloads and bill payment services at CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store and on CARiNG Official eStore. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management may add or remove the points eligibility at its discretion from time to time. Items marked with a ‘#’ hashtag symbol on store receipts indicate that the item is not eligible for points collection.
  11. No points will be awarded for transactions made via third party online marketplace such as Lazada, Shopee, GrabMart and TikTok Shop.
  12. No points will be awarded for selected promotional items.
  13. Effective 1st January 2026, every 200 Caring points can be redeemed for RM1 off your total bill at any CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy or Wellings Pharmacy store or on CARiNG Official eStore. Points earned can be redeemed directly upon payment for cash savings on your next purchase. A maximum of 75,000 Caring points can be redeemed per receipt.
  14. Points may be redeemed for rewards, vouchers, or discounts as specified by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management. Points cannot be converted to cash but can be redeemed for cash savings on purchases.
  15. Points redemption is subject to the Caring Member complying with the procedures for redemption. Redemption of points will only be processed after membership verification via redemption personal identification number (PIN) or one-time password (OTP) has been received by CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store or on CARiNG Official eStore.
  16. Points cannot be redeemed until they are credited into the Caring Membership account of the member. Points will be recorded in members’ accounts only after CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy or Wellings Pharmacy store or CARiNG Official eStore has been notified the details of the relevant transaction of which points are issued for.
  17. Points redemption cannot be cancelled, exchanged, returned or refunded.
  18. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to reverse or adjust awarded and/or redeemed, whether in full or in part, for returned, refunded or exchanged purchases, unless the exchange is made for products of equivalent value.
  19. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to reverse any points awarded and/or redeemed without prior notice if CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management determines that the points were earned and/or redeemed in the event of error, misuse, suspected fraud or in violation of the Terms & Conditions stated herein.

Member Tiers

  1. Caring Membership 3-tier programme commences from 1st October 2022 with all existing members beginning with a Silver Tier membership.
  2. All members will begin with a Silver Tier membership and it is to the discretion of the member to maintain or tier-up their membership level as they desire.
  3. Members must meet the minimum purchase amounts within 12 months to maintain or tier up their membership level. The 12 months period begins from your registration date or tier up date, whichever is most recent.
    1. Silver Tier – No minimum purchase required to qualify for this tier.
    2. Gold Tier – Purchase a minimum of RM8,000 within 12 months to qualify for this tier.
    3. Platinum Tier – Purchase a minimum of RM20,000 within 12 months to qualify for this tier.
  4. Membership tier up begins the next day after the qualifier is met.
  5. If the qualifying criteria are not met within the 12 months period, members’ tracked purchases will be reset. Upon reset, Gold Tier and Platinum Tier will be tiered down. The new membership tier will be determined based on the total qualifying spend.
  6. Gold and Platinum Tier members can maintain their current tier by re-spending the qualifying amount required for their current tier. Maintain membership tier begins upon the expiry of the initial 12 month validity period. Members’ Gold or Platinum Tier will automatically be extended for another 12 months upon expiry.
  7. Members may keep extending their Gold or Platinum Tier by 12 months by spending the same after their current Gold or Platinum Tier has been extended. Purchases made before the current Gold or Platinum Tier has been extended will not be qualified.
  8. Membership tiers, their associated benefits, and qualification criteria may be amended at the sole discretion of CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management without prior notice.
  9. Membership tier upgrades or downgrades may occur based on spending thresholds, activity levels, or other criteria, as determined at the sole discretion of CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management.
  10. Membership tier benefits are non-transferable and subject to availability and specific terms. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to amend membership tier benefits at any time without prior notice.
  11. Membership tier status and benefits are valid for the period determined by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management. Expired benefits or privileges cannot be reinstated.
  12. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to suspend or revoke membership tier status in cases of suspected misuse, fraud or violation of these Terms & Conditions. Members found engaging in such activities may have their membership downgraded or terminated.

Birthday Points

  1. Birthday points are only awarded during the members’ birthday month, based on the date of birth recorded in members’ registered accounts.
  2. No birthday points will be awarded if your date of birth is not provided and recorded in your registered account at least 7 days prior to your birthday month.
  3. Caring Members must ensure their date of birth is correctly updated in their account prior to the birthday month to be eligible for birthday points.
  4. Birthday points are awarded in the form of additional points on top of the base points earned for eligible purchases.
    1. Silver Tier       –  [1x base] + [2x birthday] = Total 3x points
    2. Gold Tier        –  [1x base] + [0.5x member tier] + [2x birthday] = Total 3.5x points
    3. Platinum Tier  –  [1x base] + [1x member tier] + [2x birthday] = Total 4x points
  5. Effective 1st January 2026, birthday points are capped at 1,000 Caring Points per member. Base and member tier points will still be awarded when the limit for birthday points is hit.
  6. Birthday points will be awarded for purchases at any CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy or Wellings Pharmacy store and on CARiNG Official eStore.
  7. Caring Membership must be presented to the cashier of the CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy, Wellings Pharmacy store or logged in on CARiNG Official eStore before each purchase to be eligible for awarding of any birthday points. Caring Membership presented after the transaction will not be accepted for points accumulation.
  8. No birthday points will be awarded for purchase of selected items including but not limited to selected medications, prepaid reloads, mobile reloads and bill payment services at CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store and on CARiNG Official eStore. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management may add or remove the points eligibility at its discretion from time to time. Items marked with a ‘#’ hashtag symbol on store receipts indicate that the item is not eligible for points collection.
  9. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to reverse any birthday points awarded and/or redeemed without prior notice if CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management determines that the points were earned and/or redeemed in the event of error, misuse, suspected fraud or in violation of the Terms & Conditions stated herein.
  10. Birthday points are subject to the same member points terms and conditions of the Caring Membership program.

Birthday Vouchers

  1. Birthday vouchers are exclusively available to Caring Members who have provided a valid date of birth during registration.
  2. Individual birthday vouchers are awarded ONCE per member per calendar year on members’ birthday month. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to determine the issuance date.
  3. Individual birthday vouchers can be redeemed ONCE per member per calendar year on members’ birthday month. Birthday vouchers are available on a first-come, first-served basis and while stocks last.
  4. Birthday vouchers can be redeemed at any CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy or Wellings Pharmacy physical stores nationwide only and are not redeemable on CARiNG Official eStore.
  5. Birthday vouchers are valid on members’ birthday month only. Expired vouchers will not be reissued or extended.
  6. Birthday vouchers are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered member.
  7. Birthday vouchers are subject to product exclusions and/or other restrictions as stated on the respective voucher. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to vary such restrictions without prior notice.
  8. Birthday vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash or other forms of credit.
  9. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to cancel any voucher suspected of being obtained or used fraudulently, including vouchers shared or transferred in violation of these Terms & Conditions.

Termination of Membership

  1. Caring Members have the option to terminate their membership at any time.
  2. Termination can be done via:

    1. Caring Membership Mobile App under ‘Account’.
    2. Walk-in to any CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy or Wellings Pharmacy store for assistance.
    3. Notifying Caring Pharmacy via email to customercare@caringpharmacy.com.my.
  3. Membership accounts will be terminated within 30 working days upon receipt of any notice.
  4. Termination of membership accounts are permanent and cannot be undone. All your points, rewards and purchase history will be permanently erased and cannot be reinstated.
  5. Upon termination, suspension, or closure of a membership account, all awarded points and rewards will be forfeited without compensation.
  6. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management may, at its sole and absolute discretion, terminate, suspend, or cancel a membership account at any time, with or without prior notice, if there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraud or misconduct by the Caring Member or any third party.
  7. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend or terminate any membership account suspected of violating these Terms & Conditions.

General Terms

  1. The Membership remains the property of CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management Sdn Bhd at all times.
  2. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management (including its successors, assigns, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, affiliates and subsidiaries), all CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store or CARiNG Official eStore shall not be liable to you or any third party authorized by or claiming through you for any loss, damage, cost, expenses, actions, suits, claims and demand whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, of loss of business, revenue of profits or of any nature suffered by you or any person for any loss, damage or injury caused or suffered by a person arising from the usage of the Caring Membership.
  3. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management shall hold no liability if a Membership application is rejected for any reason whatsoever.
  4. All Rewards are subject to availability and further subject to all applicable legal rules and the terms and conditions (including priority level, selection criteria and limitations of liability) as imposed by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management from time to time.
  5. In the event of a failure or breakdown of any equipment or system used in connection with the Caring Membership, CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store or CARiNG Official eStore may refuse request awarding and/or redemption of any eligible reward(s) on any transaction. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management and any participating Merchant(s) shall not be responsible or liable in any manner in the event rewards are not awarded or redemption cannot be made or a member is unable to check his/her rewards, due to any failure in the equipment or system used in connection with the Programme.
  6. The use of the Caring Membership Mobile App is at members’ risk. Caring Members are responsible for the security of his/her user mobile application login PIN and rewards redemption PIN. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management accepts no liability for the disclosure of any user credentials by the Member to a third party, whether intentionally or not.
  7. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right to block a member from accessing his/her account if CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management has reasonable grounds to suspect that fraud or misconduct has been committed by the member or a third party.
  8. While CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management uses reasonable efforts to include up-to-date information in the mobile application, website and in all its publications, CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management makes no warranties or representations as to their accuracy, reliability, completeness or otherwise.
  9. Notification of any matter in relation to the CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management shall be deemed given to member if it is made via any one of the methods below:
    1. by posting on the mobile application; website; SMS or mobile push notification; or
    2. by sending an email to member; or
    3. by social media postings; or
    4. by publication in a newspaper; or
    5. sending by ordinary post to the last known address of a member appearing in CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management records.
  10. All communications and/or correspondences by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management, is either by way of notification through CARiNG Pharmacy’s official website and/or the CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store or CARiNG Official eStore, advertisements and/or any other media deemed fit. Any such notification shall immediately supersede the previous communication and/or correspondence with regard to the same matter, unless it is expressed and clearly stated otherwise.
  11. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management will only be liable to a member (and not any other third party) who suffers loss in connection with the membership arising from rewards being wrongly deducted or non-credit of rewards entitled by a member and in such a case, CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management’s sole liability will be limited to crediting to the relevant member’s account such rewards which have been wrongly deducted or should have been credited but were not. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management shall not be responsible where: (i) there is no breach of a legal duty of care owed to such member by CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store or CARiNG Official eStore or by any of CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management’s employees, staff, authorised personnel or agents; or (ii) such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any such breach at the time CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management enters into this agreement with such member; or (iii) any increase in loss or damage resulting from breach by such member of the programme.
  12. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management, participating merchants, or other third parties are not responsible or liable to the member for indirect, consequential or economic losses, loss of profits, loss of opportunity or punitive damages of any kind.
  13. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management may further establish rules, procedures and policies in relation to any matter regarding the programme, all of which shall form part of the Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions as set out herein shall prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other documents, statements, rules, procedures, policies or communications, issued by CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store or CARiNG Official eStore, including frequently asked question (FAQ), advertisements or promotional materials.
  14. The Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with laws of Malaysia. You hereby expressly submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Malaysia.
  15. If any of the provisions herein contained should be invalid, illegal or unenforceable under any applicable law, the legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions should not be affected.
  16. CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store or CARiNG Official eStore’s promotional materials are the intellectual property of CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management, participating merchants, or other third parties. A member has no right to use such intellectual property.
  17. Any dispute regarding points, rewards or services must be directed to CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management and/or customercare@caringpharmacy.com.my within seven (7) days of the said dispute in writing.
  18. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management has the final authority as to the interpretation of the Terms and Conditions and as to any other questions or disputes regarding the Membership.
  19. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to amend the reward structures of the Caring Membership Program at any time. Continued participation in the program constitutes acceptance of such changes.
  20. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to waive, amend, or supplement these Membership Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) at any time without prior notice. Such amendments shall take precedence over any prior Terms and Conditions. Your continued usage of the Membership after any amendment(s) to the Terms and Conditions shall constitute your acceptance to the such amendment(s).
  21. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management shall not be liable for any loss or inconvenience faced by you as a result of the amendment(s) of these Terms and Conditions.
  22. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management’s decisions relating to the loyalty program are final and binding.

Data Protection and Privacy Policy

  1. When applying for Caring Membership, members are required to provide certain personal information, including full name as per MyKad or any other personal identification, address and contact details. This information will be held strictly confidential and will not be shared with any third party without your consent.
  2. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management is committed to maintaining the security of members’ personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and will take all necessary reasonable steps to ensure that members’ personal data are secured against unauthorized access, loss, disclosure or destruction.
  3. The Data Protection and Privacy Policy will apply whenever you provide CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management with your personal information unless it is required by law or any regulatory authority to disclose or to share your personal information.
  4. CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management and other affiliates under the strategic alliances reserves the right to use the database information for cross selling, marketing and promotions activities. Rest assured that CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management will take reasonable steps to ensure that your privacy and confidentiality is protected. If you do not wish to receive any promotional or direct marketing material, please notify us via email to customercare@caringpharmacy.com.my.

TERMS OF USE FOR MYHEALTH RECORD

MyHealth Record, also known as Patient Medication Record (PMR), is a service provided by CARiNG Pharmacy Retail Management. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply for the use of MyHealth Record. When you start using MyHealth Record, you (“you” or “user”) agree to these Terms.

  1. Using MyHealth Record
    MyHealth Record does not provide any medical advice, therapeutic or diagnostic information or recommendations.You may only use MyHealth Record to manage and document your health information. However, do not rely solely on MyHealth Record, e.g. for remembering medication. We do not check the correctness or completeness of your settings or entries in MyHealth Record.Always verify the accuracy of content in MyHealth Record. Read the package insert of your medication and consult with your healthcare provider. Make medical decisions based on your healthcare provider’s advice only.
  2. Provision of MyTherapy
    Some MyHealth Record functionality requires internet connection. As we rely on telecommunication networks beyond our control, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability of MyHealth Record. We try to minimize operational interruptions e.g. for maintenance.We cannot guarantee MyHealth Record working on your smartphone or compatibility with your smartphone’s software or hardware.We are not liable for data loss if you delete your data, delete MyHealth Record or the mobile application from your smartphone, delete your account or if you lose access to your account.
  3. Registering an Account
    You can use MyHealth Record in any CARiNG Pharmacy, Georgetown Pharmacy and Wellings Pharmacy store. Please inform us if you suspect misuse of your account.
  4. Duration and termination
    This agreement is concluded for an indefinite period. You may terminate this agreement anytime.
    You can cancel the agreement by deleting your account. We may terminate this Agreement anytime with 30 working days notice by emailing customercare@caringpharmacy.com.my. If the Agreement is terminated, we will delete your account and you may no longer use MyHealth Record.The right of termination for good cause remains unaffected.
  5. Amendments
    We reserve the right to amend these Terms. By continuing to use MyHealth Record after any such change, you agree to follow and be bound by the updated Terms.
